DESA SERAYA  Alor Setar

 

This project on 103 acres FREEHOLD land in Alor Setar is being developed into 1098 units of integrated development comprising 816 units of terrace houses, 164 units of semi-detached and 118 units of shops. 

Within 5 years, more than 700 units have been completed and handed over to the happy purchasers.  With our efficient and reliable management, the whole project is expected to be completed by 2011.

KASUMA RESORT  Kuching, Sarawak

Kasuma Resort, a joint venture project of our associate company with the Sarawak Government’s Land Custody & Development Authority, is the premier and largest lakeside residential development in Kuching, Sarawak. Adjoining Kuching’s Kelab Golf Sarawak, Kasuma Resort is only 5 minutes from the government administrative centre and 10 minutes from the city centre.

Phase One on a 120 acres site comprising 82 villas, 360 luxury condominiums, sports and restaurant complex, is built around a man made central lake covering a fifth of the site. Its bold layout with a superb waterside environment to residents has attracted great interest in the Malaysian housing market.

The 400 acres Phase Two, located along the majestic Santubong River has been planned to be a premium mixed housing and commercial centre. The Santubong River leads directly into the South China Sea.

PRIME SEASIDE LAND BANK  Malacca City Centre

The Group owns 2 pieces of adjoining prime land worth more than RM90 million in Malacca City Centre. By virtue of its unique city centre and seaside location at the mouth of the historic Malacca River, it has tremendous potential. It can be developed into the most exclusive seaside residential enclave (similar to the one developed in Sentosa, Singapore) or a seaside hotel/ recreational complex. Already, a RM25 million marina and the RM40 million gigantic ferris wheel (the former "Eye of Malysia" in Titiwangsa) have been installed on the immediate adjoining land. More exciting projects are expected to be developed in that vicinity.

COMPLETED PROJECT IN AUSTRALIA 

SANCTUARY LAKES  Melbourne, Australia

(one of the projects developed by our associate companies) 

 

 

Sanctuary Lakes Resort is located at Point Cook, off Princess Highway, about 15 minutes from Melbourne’s Central Business District. This AUD880 million venture on 1000 acres of land is perhaps the largest single integrated residential development in Melbourne involving the construction of 2500 units of luxurious resort homes, revolving around an 18-hole golf course and a 100-acre lake.

This 18-hole golf course is of international championship standard, designed by Greg Norman. The 100-acre lake is man made with eight islands. Besides a scenic surrounding for the residents, the lake also provides water sport facilities and the best sailing regatta venue in Melbourne.

With our financially strong and technically competent management, the project is an overwhelming success. The well planned Sanctuary Lakes Resort has radically changed and uplifted the image of the area west of Melbourne and has triggered rapid development of the land in the vicinity.

COMPLETED PROJECT IN CHINA

 

LAKEWOOD GOLF & COUNTRY RESORT  Zhuhai, China

A joint venture project in 1994 with the Government of Zhuhai city to develop 888 acres of land into an integrated centre with a 36-hole golf course, a F-1 grand prix track and 300 acres of premium residential housing.

Zhuhai is a designated Special Economic Zone located at the China-Macau border, about one hour ferry ride from Hong Kong.

The 36-hole golf course and grand prix track have been successfully completed and are in full operation.

Due to its strategic location, the project is able to capture the Hong Kong and Macau market with golf memberships sold at HK$300,000 each.

FUTURE PROJECT

 

LIVERMORE San Francisco, USA

 

 

The Group has a 500-acre land bank in Livermore, located to the east of the San Francisco, along Highway 580 which could be developed into a  well planned and environmentally friendly residential housing estate.

San Francisco Bay area is almost fully developed and saturated. The immediate adjoining land is steep and mountainous and is expected not to be able to be zoned for residential development.

Being the next suitable area for development, Livermore is presently experiencing rapid development due to its proximity to the Bay area. Livermore with its beautiful rolling terrain and openness is also the sought-after locality for relocation by those who fear the Bay area becoming too congested and polluted.
